Google Code Issue ID:3228
Originally reported on Google Code with ID 3228
What archive revision are you testing on? (See the version label in
the footer, for example v0.8.13.8.)
v0.8.21.3 and test-0.9.0.6
If appropriate, enter the URL of a page where the problem can be seen:
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a work with more than one chapter
2. Wish to add a co-author to all chapters without having to separately add co-author
to each chapter
3. Find no way to do this
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It would seem logical that if one edits a work's metadata with the "Edit" button and
chooses to add a co-author that that co-author would be added to all existing chapters.
Instead, co-author is actually only added to the first chapter.
Please use labels and text to provide additional information.
There is an additional problem that on beta the co-author will appear to be added
to all chapters. Both names appear with no "Chapter by Author1" notice on every chapter.
However, if Author2 tries to edit a chapter other than chapter 1 (or possibly chapter
2), it results in Error 500 (see AO3-2104 Closed ).
Although Author2's name already appears under "Current Co-authors" on each chapter
(both beta and test), editing each chapter and adding Author2 as a co-author will work
to make Author2 actually a co-author on all chapters.
