What happens

Your subscription email looks like this:

sarken and nivens posted a new work:

New Multi-chapter Work (19 words)
by sarken and nivens

Chapters: 2/2
Fandom: Testing
Rating: General Audiences
Warnings: Choose Not To Use Archive Warnings

Summary:
This work is new!

sarken and nivens posted a new chapter of New Multi-chapter Work (19 words):

Chapter 2 (6 words)

Yeah, okay, makes sense, right? Chapter 2 just has less information. Nothing odd.

Let's make the problem a bit clearer. Say instead of making a new work, I already had a work, and I posted a new chapter with a co-creator, and then posted another new chapter without the co-creator. In that case, the email looks like this:

sarken and nivens posted a new chapter of Multi-chapter Work (973 words):

Chapter 4: new chapter with a co-creator (77 words)
by sarken and nivens

Chapter Summary:
I'm adding a co-creator.

Chapters: 5/?
Fandom: Testing
Rating: General Audiences
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply

Summary:
Resurrection.

sarken and nivens posted a new chapter of Multi-chapter Work (973 words):

Chapter 5: new chapter without co-creator (93 words)

Chapter Summary:
Just by me!

It just... omits the byline on chapter 5 there (because subscription emails only include the chapter byline for the first chapter of a given work). Which isn't great in this case because the omission leads one to believe the chapter is by sarken and nivens, but it's really by just sarken.

What should happen

Let's be consistent with the way bylines work on the actual chapters on the site: subscription emails only show the chapter byline if it differs from the work byline.
